About SONG SIGNING
Everyone wants to learn a bit of sign language. Most people that I meet want to learn some, but it's either too expensive or they just loathe the classroom, and it’s been that way ever since I can remember.
I offer you the opportunity to learn the BASICS in communicating using signs in a calm, relaxing but fun atmosphere.
What we do together may not get you a piece of paper to say you are qualified, but instead it will give you the chance to make a difference in someone's life.

REBECCA BREINER
(BECKI)
This is me:
Becki Breiner – A mum, wife housekeeper who is also partially deaf – from an accident when I was
aged 3 years old involving a BBQ resulting in over 60% hearing loss. As I got older my hearing has
continued to deteriorate and live with the fear that I may lose my hearing completely.
Life with a hearing loss can be quite isolating and embarrassing – when meeting new people, the
first thing I must make people aware of is that if they talk to me and i ignores you, I can’t hear you!
4 years ago, it got the stage where I needed hearing aids .
I decided to learn Sign Language in case my fears came true
and i became completely deaf. Whilst learning British Sign Language I had no one to practice with
so turned to music.
I posted my first video of Song Signing – “This is Me” in August 2018 – which recorded a staggering
6,000 views in a week. This was evidence to me that this was clearly a support service that many
needed.
Now i am an ambassador for a well respected charity called SignHealth and Sign2Sing, work alongside well known organisations such as Mencap and Sheppey Matters.
I run classes to show the community the basics in
communication USING SIGN LANGUAGE through music. I am
hoping to open the communication barriers that unfortunately still exist today.
