We received an amazing donation from the Rotary Club of Minster-On-Sea

Thank you so much, this money is going towards a new and exciting project to be run by our newest young workshop facilitators.

The Warm Hub January 2024

This amazing Warm Space is fully run and supported by our amazing Song Signing Academy volunteers.

Every week, they provide the community with FREE fresh soup and roll.

Open to the public and FREE for all to use.

Parent and Carer Meeting April 2024

Our new and exciting group to support parents and carers of all aged and abilities children in coming together for peer and professional support and guidance of understanding how to communicate with our children

This project is fully funded and run by our volunteers providing FREE space to gain support and advice with FREE beverages and snacks

The Communication Hub September 2023

In September 2023 we opened our first communication hub, fully run by our amazing volunteers.

open to the public every Tuesday and Saturday 10am -1pm

Winter 2023




During the winter period, the song signing choir has been performing for multiple church services, xmas fetes and light switch on's.


This year they all performed amazing and gained new members for our choir.

This year was our first time of performing in church services 



​SUMMER 2023



​The choir and volunteers had a great summer performing in multiple carnivals, festivals and summer events.

SPIRIT OF TRY ANGLE AWARDS 2023

In July 2023, Paris - our Try Angle Courage Winner was requested to attend an award ceremony in Port Lympe Wild Animal Park to receive her extended award to KENTS Courage winner.

In April of 2023, 3 of our young choir members were nominated and awarded the Try Angle Awards

  • Sophie won the Contribution to Music award

  • Paris won the Courage award
 
  • Aimee won the personalDevelopment Award



We couldn't be more proud of our girls and the whole choir.


November 2022

​In November the Song Signing Choir was given the massive chance to perform and compete for Britains Got Talent.
36 Choir members performed their socks off in London and got through all three producer auditions. Now waiting for the show to air.








​14th MAY 2022


Today the Song Signing Choir got to travel to London an compete in the National Signing Choir Competition.

They absolutely smashed it and came 4th.

I WAS HONOURED TO BE INVITED TO BUCKINGHAM PALACE GARDEN PARTY AS A THANK YOU AND RECOGNITION FOR MY WORK WITH THE COMMUNITY AND BREAKING COMMUNICATION BARRIERS USING SONG SIGNING

IT RAINED MOST OF THE DAY BUT IT WAS SO MUCH FUN AND WE TRUELY WERE HONOURED TO BE THERE

​in Feb 2022, song signing were honoured to be able to perform for royalty.  Prince Charle and Camila, Duke and DUCHESS of Cornwall, came to The isle of sheppey for one of our partner charities and we were given the great OPPORTUNITY to perform for them and their DELEGATES

FOR THE DEAF AWARENESS WEEK (04/05/2020 - 10/05/2020) THE COMMUNITY WANTED TO DO ANOTHER SONG.

​AGAIN THIS WAS ANOTHER BIG HIT ON SOCIAL MEDIA AND MORE AND MORE PEOPLE WANTED TO JOIN IN.


​ONCE AGAIN THE COMMUNITY ALL JOINED IN AND MADE ANOTHER HIT WITH THIS SONG, SHOWING THE WORLD WE WILL FIGHT ON AND SURVIVE.

THIS VIDEO ALSO WENT VIRAL AND HAS REACHED OVER 30,000 PEOPLE IN A WEEK, WITH MORE AND MORE PEOPLE JOINING IN


​THIS VIDEO WAS MADE TO THANK THE NHS AND KEY WORKERS FOR ALL THEIR HARD WORK AND TO ASK EVERYONE TO DO THEIR BIT, STAY HOME, SAVE THE NHS AND SAVE LIVES.

THIS IS HOW GREAT THE POWER OF MUSIC CAN INCLUDE THE COMMUNITY EVEN IN LOCK DOWN AND SOCIAL ISOLATION.

WE REACHED OVER 63,000 PEOPLE ON FACEBOOK ALONE


​DUE TO THE LOCK DOWN AND SOCIAL ISOLATION SONG SIGNING HAD TO COME UP WITH A NEW WAY TO REACH PEOPLE AND CONTINUE WITH THEIR AMAZING ABILITY TO LEARN THIS BEAUTIFUL LANGUAGE EVEN IN UNPRECEDENTED CIRCUMSTANCES.

​Song Signing have an amazing opportunity to compete in the National Signing Choir Competition 2020 in London this year and are holding a fundraising concert on the 21st February 2020 at the Working Men's Club Minster, Sheerness at 19:30.

This is to help fund our trip to London.

​Everyone is welcome, all ages and disabilities.

This is the Song Signing Choir after traveling 4 1/2 hours to Bristol to audition for the Britains Got Talent 2020 

Unfortunatly, we was not successful this time round, but it was an amazing experience.













Song Signing have attended many Brownies, Guides, Scouts and Beaver groups to help them with their communication and inclusion badges.

​Song Signing was nominated for 3 IBAK awards and finalised for 2 categories

I was given the amazing task of starting a new and exciting tv show called "Come Sign With Me" for KMTV.

The TV show run for about 6 months and was based on the Paramendic Chris books by Tim Parsons.
